Jesus is the center of our worship, hope, and calling.
Christians believe Jesus reveals the heart of God, carries the weight of human sin, defeats death through His resurrection, and opens the way into a new life of grace. At Mount Hope, everything else in church life flows from Him.
Jesus shows us God
In the life and teaching of Jesus, we see God’s holiness, mercy, truth, and love made visible.
Jesus saves
Through the cross and resurrection, Jesus offers forgiveness, reconciliation, and the promise of new life.
Jesus leads
Following Jesus means trusting Him day by day in worship, relationships, service, and hope.
Why this matters for everyday life
For Christians, Jesus is not only an inspiring teacher. He is Lord. That means faith is more than positive values or spiritual comfort. It becomes a way of life marked by repentance, trust, prayer, love of neighbor, and hope that does not collapse under suffering.
